This 49-year-old woman (5’6”, 135 lbs.) was diagnosed with invasive left breast cancer. Lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) was also present. The patient desired a bilateral mastectomy procedure. Following bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies, immediate reconstruction with a Latissimus Dorsi musculocutaneous flap (skin and muscle from back) in addition to breast implants was performed. Nipple construction with local flaps and areolar tattoo were later performed in the office.
